Riding the human air puck
Today we rode the “Human Air Puck.” You sit on a piece of plywood with a vacuum in your hands. The vacuum blows air through a hole under the plywood, and you float along. You can see a video of me riding it here. Caution: It’s a big file (2 MB). I’m not sure the exact format of the video (it was shot on my Treo phone), but I know that Quicktime can play it.
So,. you’re a hockey puck now? You and Rodney Dangerfield?
Looks like fun.

Elementary sochol for you equates to primary sochol out here. I don't know about now, but I remember when I was in primary sochol we didn't learn much at all in the way of science. Back then it was high sochol stuff and I couldn't wait to learn something interesting. Sadly the interesting stuff didn't get taught until third year high, and I'd left sochol by then. I'm hoping that by now, primary sochols here have upped their standards a bit. Or a lot. Science really needs to start young.
